Process to Transfer to another HighLevel Agency

You may transfer your account from our Agency (Releasing Agency) to a New Agency (Receiving Agency). It is not a merge of data or partial transfer. It is a complete transfer of your account to the New Agency.

There is a fee associated with this transfer.

To initiate this process, you must have the Receiving Agency Relationship Number.


Transfer your Account to a New Agency

Notify us of your decision to transfer your Account to a New HighLevel Agency.

  • Contact Support and request to cancel
  • To initiate this form, you must have the Receiving Agency Relationship Number.

When transferring multiple accounts, you must fill out the form for each account.


Information and assets THAT ARE transferred

  • All contacts and their conversations, appointments, opportunities, and history will be transferred over.
  • All websites, funnels, forms, and surveys will all be transferred.
  • All opportunities will be transferred over.
    • Note: Opportunity ownership may be impacted if a User is removed during the transfer.
  • All calendars will get transferred over.
    • Note: The external calendar integrations will be disconnected and you will need to reset.
  • All workflows will be transferred over in DRAFT.
    • Note: You will need to republish all workflows for them to work.
  • All courses, groups, and communities are transferred.
  • All users with User Type 'Account', and only assigned to that particular account and no other account will be transferred.

When transferring multiple accounts, our recommendation is to ensure you have a unique Admin User in each account.


Information and assets that ARE NOT transferred

  • All authorization connections will be deleted
    • Example: Google, FB, Instagram, Quickbooks, Yext
  • All Facebook and Google connections
  • Stripe integrations and connections
  • All Smartlists will not be transferred
    • Note: You will want to note your Smartlist filters ahead of the move, so you may recreate them.
  • Your Email Service for Mailgun will not be transferred including your built up email reputation
  • All active subscriptions like Wordpress, Yext, Whatsapp, Dedicated IP, etc. won't get transferred. They'll have to be cancelled before the transfer can happen.

All of these settings will need to be reconnected when your account is in the new HighLevel Agency and reset.


It is your responsibility to request cancellation of subscriptions like Wordpress, Yext, Whatsapp, Dedicated IP, etc. We will not refund past payments.


Phone Number Transfers

We use the LeadConnector phone system. To determine how your phone will transfer, you must ask your new HighLevel Agency which phone system they use. Below is the information about phone transfer.


Both Agencies are on LeadConnector

  • If BOTH the releasing and receiving agencies are on the LeadCconnector phone system, then the phone numbers will automatically be transferred with the account.
  • The A2P DLC phone registration status will be retained. The account does not need to again register the phone numbers that are already registered.
  • All the phone usage charges going forward will be accrued by the receiving agency.

Both Agencies are not on LeadConnector (Either one or Both are Twilio)

No phone numbers will be transferred over by HighLevel. It is your responsibility to work with the previous account owner as well as Twilio to move over any or all phone numbers that you may want to keep connected to the transferred account.

If the receiving agency is not on the LeadConnect phone system, We will charge a minimum of 3 hours to support the move of your phone to Twilio.


How long does it take?

Once we initiate the transfer process, there are two more steps. The Receiving Agency approves the request. Then HighLevel reviews the request to ensure everything is in order and the transfer process begins, which typically takes between 2-5 business days AFTER both agencies have approved the request. 


Pre and Post Account Transfer

What is the prep that I have to do to the sub-account before transferring?

    • Set all users that you want to be transferred over are User Type ‘Account’ and only assigned to this specific account being transferred. 
    • Set all workflows to ‘Draft’.
    • All active subscriptions like Wordpress, Yext, Whatsapp, Dedicated IP etc. will have to be cancelled before the transfer is requested.
    • Note your Smartlist filters, so you may recreate them when you move to your new agency

What is the setup that I will need once the transfer is made?

    • You will need to reconnect all auth connections (ex: Google, FB, Quickbooks, Clio, DrChrono)
    • You will have to reintegrate Facebook and Google
    • You will have setup Stripe
    • You will have to re-add your Email Service and Phone Service
    • You will have to re-activate all your workflows
    • You will have to re-add your domains
    • Re-create your Smartlists
